The trail of the month is chosen based upon the ability to hike the trail during the time of year that it is posted.  For example, a high alpine route will generally not be exhibited as the trail of the month during the winter unless it offers good winter travel (snowshoeing and skiing) opportunities.  Please enjoy some of the best trails Colorado has to offer by trekking along one of the following suggested paths:
